I feel you’re frustration.  I’ve been there and done that with our 8 & 6 y/o daughters (both ssw cah).  I’ve dealt with the pissy ER docs who think we know nothing, the superior endos who know everything and those very gray areas of emergency treatment for the kids.  Some illnesses are so black and white and other times you’re just not 100% sure and you pray like crazy that you make the right decision.  I think we should start a scholarship fund to send us mommies to med school so we can become endos.

As for the chat room, I think that is a great idea.  I was thinking at one time there was a chat room here.  I could be wrong (it wouldn’t be the first time - lol!)  I don’t know what would be involved for Danny (bless you Danny!) to do that and he is already swamped with running the board.

I’m glad you’re son is feeling better.  I hope you can all get some much needed rest and peace of mind.
