BCG is a live vaccine. My daughter had measles just after she was given the measles vaccine, also live, when she was a baby.  Here in the UK children get the BCG vaccine around 14yrs.  She wasn’t allowed to have it because of that early experience. However my son, also SWCAH, had it with no reaction whatsoever.  All are different!  The disadvantage for my daughter was that she couldn’t get into nursing college without that vaccine.
