A thought occured to me as I read your note......  when I was pregnant with my second child ( a girl) I too had the CVS done at about 10 weeks. I had also been taking the dex. I was able to stop the dex after the Cornell info came back that my baby was a female carrier.  BUT....... I was warned that sometimes with CVS a little bit of the mother is taken and sampled instead of the fetus so that if the sample came back saying the baby was female we still had to wait for something else to confirm that it was the baby being tested and not me. After all, the mother is a female carrier of CAH.

I wonder if this happened with the CVS you had done... the sample tested was actually from you?
