i have a ?? here. please dont misunderstand....it definitely seems like this dr. was not up on cah and did take an offensive tone with you. i think that is a real shame. however, my son has had diarrhea (he is 10 months with swcah) and we have never stressed dosed him for just one bout. i would assume that if he was drinking ok, keeping the meds down (meaning the diarrhea was after 1/2 hour following administration of the cortef), and not acting ill there would not be a need for stress dosing with one diarrhea episode. i would not think that one episode would put anyone in danger of dehydration. my endo has never instructed me to dose for that. just curious! so sorry for your frustration!!
