KayJulia, I am so sorry for all you have been through.
As far as the precocious puberty goes, it may be that Chelsea needs a bigger dose of Lupron. We went through some of that with my daughter who is now 16. I know is seems overwhelming, but it will get better. It’s just that it makes your heart ache while she is going through all of this. Do you give the Lupron shot at home or do you take her to the dr for it? Do you numb the area first with Emla cream? We found that very helpful and after several months, I started giving the shots at home.
My daughter doesn’t swim, but she rides horses and I know what it like when she gets disqualified because the horse refused a jump too many times or she goes off course. It doesn’t help either when all her friends get ribbons and she didn’t. Thank goodness that got better too!
I will keep you and Chelsea and your husband in my prayers. I hope he comes around soon and will give you the support you need. Even if he is not actively involved right now, just remember that Chelsea is so lucky to have you fighting for her. You sound like a great mom who just wants what is best for her daughter.
Take care and if you want to e-mail me direct, please feel free to do so - or here on the board, it does not matter. I just want you to know that we have been there before and will be there for you if you need us.
Kay
