JanetDHi Lisa,
Sorry to hear that life is so hard for you right now.
From what I learned from my ped endo, you probably don’t need to be concerned about her going into adrenal crisis. That said, I was also instructed to contact the ped endo if there was a period in which mental/emotional type stress (can’t remember their exact words) would be ongoing. Your daughter would fall into this catagory. See what they have to say, what they want you to watch for. If it was me, I would want to talk with the endocrine nurse (dr can be hard to reach & this is not info I would want to share with the receptionist) and tell her exactly what is going on, how your daughter is reacting, both during the abusive situations, after, at school, etc. They might want to know how she is feeling (headaches, upset stomach, ...) All of these little bits of information might be clues as to how a change in meds would be called for.
Try to make sure that they don’t put you off by saying emotional stress isn’t a concern. Based on what I have read, for the most part it probably isn’t. But this is an extreme situation -- for everyone.
Warm regards,
Janet
