Every once in a while I think I have a handle on what CAH is, I don’t know it, but have a grasp..then I post a question & get a response that floors me.

Different strains of SWCAH?  OH MY GOSH I did not know!  I have been dealing with this for 11 months & I know that it is not that long, but right now I am feeling like I really have no clue what I am dealing with.  Any idea how many strains?  I am assuming some are much more severe than others.  Ok guys, educate me!!!!!!  I need to be able to go into the Endo’s office armed.   Do I need to request Quest lab do the DNA testing, should my SWCAH daughter be tested as well as the rest of us?  Could we also carry the Non Classic CAH?  I am swirling right now and of course as I left the doctor today I wished him luck on his 2 week vacation he starts tomorrow so I can’t call him freaking out tomorrow!  The Endo that covers for him is a good Endo, but his bedside manner sucks & I know that he would only tick me off instead of giving me answers, so I am not going to ask him.

I am going to inform my husband that once again, we thought we had a handle on something & where WRONG
