PaulLisa,
When I talk to people on this site I speak only from experience. I am not an expert, but I like to get ideas out in the open so that they can be discussed with Doctors. I truly believe through my experience growing up that CAH can cause a increase in emotional distress because your hormones are sometimes out of control. I have found it tough to find the exact level of medication. If I take too much I feel myself becoming mellow because my testostrone level lowers with the larger dose. If I take to little my testostrone level rises to a greater level causing me to be more aggresive or possibly emotional. From this thought, it may be possible that increased medication could calm her down, but it isn’t the answer. Someone who abuses a child physically or mentally is weak. Everyday continue to tell your kids about how great the accomplishments are and never discourage their dreams or efforts in anyway. I wish you the best luck.
