TiarasmomHello to everyone, my daughter started pre-school last Monday. I explained her condition and they fully understand that in the evnt of emergancy this shot must be given--if not it could be a life or death situation. Even understanding that the councelor(the one in charge to give medication to the childeren) told me Friday that the DistrictNurse said noone within the school system will be able to administer the shot!! The elementary she attends does not have a nurse on sight!!! Has anyone ran across this problem? If so what have you done? I made booklets stating her condition with all the literature I could find, plus her endo made me an Emergancy letter with her signature. Would the Cares Foundation be able to help? I feel like I educated them enough where anyone could see it is a MUST!!! I’m rambling--any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
