hi everyone! i mentioned a few days ago about a fundraiser for the cares foundation. for those of you unfamiliar with the cares foundation, here is a brief description. it is an organization dedicated to helping families living with cah, as well as supporting reasearch and conferences. for my family, it was been wonderful. the director, kelly leight, has a child with locah. kelly called me the week my son was diagnosed and has been a tremendous resource ever since. in fact, i believe she helps danny out with the expenses for this website!

i have started a big holiday fundraiser with 100% of the profits going directly to the cares foundation. for a minimum of $20 donated, you can get a great holiday card. i designed it with snowflakes all over the front with a description of the cares foundation and a statement saying the "a donation has been made in your honor to the cares foundation. on behalf of the cares foundation, we wish you a joyous holiday season and a wonderful new year." the card will then be mailed to your home and you can give it as gifts. these are awesome gifts for family, doctors, friends, teachers, etc. all of the donations are tax deductible, too!
