re: Weight advice needed please

First of all, please do not stop taking your medication.  It is life-sustaining.  My own daughter is a very mild saltwaster (actually diagnosed a non-saltwaster initially) and without medication she would be sick very quickly.   I think it would be even faster for you.  My daughter is also 16 and struggles with weight.  She lost weight during the summer, but has since gained a little back.  Actually, she is a good wieght now, but like all girls your age, she wants to be thinner.  Believe me, the way models look is not natural, normal, or healthy.  As I tell my daughter, it is good to maintain a healthy weight for your height and to understand you may be a few lbs heavier from time to time, but keep active and healthy.  Take you meds as instructed.   I know she wants to look good because of the boys at school, etc.  Anyone who will not accept you the way you are is not worth it.  Please do what you can to stay healthy - take your meds and exercise.  Eat a healthy, low fat, low calorie diet, varied enough to give you all the nutrients you need.  And, if you cut back on your portions, be sure to take a daily vitamin to get all the nutritional supplements you need.  Good luck and please take care.
