I can guess which hospital you are under and am not altogether surprised that you are disillusioned!  I was hoping you would e-mail me, so I could ask your height and weight, in order that we could work out whether your steroid dose was appropriate or whether as Carol says, you could reduce this and still remain on a sensible replacement dose.   I assume you are on hydrocortisone?  Do you take it 3 times a day?  Perhaps if you post your dosage, height and weight, we can help you calculate whether your treatment appears to be excessive and therefore the cause of your weight problem? 

Even if this is the case though, in all conscience, I don’t feel I could suggest any alterations (although others may), without the approval of your specialist.  However I may know a way we could obtain this!
