I cant help you work out your dose or anything like that but what I can tell you is that you do not want to mess with your tablets. I am the same age as you and my mum thought it may help for me to write to tell you how ill I felt before I got my dose right again. I understand how you feel, I have been there I promise. I know what it is like to be fat and hate the way you look. Now I am too thin, I prefer it this way. Yes no matter what they tell you the meds do make you fat but only if you are on the wrong type or dose but to answer your question, it will not take long for you to feel really ill. I know all about doctors not believing you and when I am too old to see the one I see now I will not see another either. Even he did not believe how ill I felt. I would faint and I had a terrible headache all the time, I had a problem with absorbing meds, they said it was nothing to do with CAH. Now they know it had. I can promise you it is not worth it, because not taking the right dose leaves you with lots of other problems, now I have problems with my spine. This happened very quickly, there were times when I thought I would die, it was only through my mum I survived. She believed in me and if you cannot talk to the doctors get your mum too.
