Ash, just what CAH medication are you taking?  I know my own daughter takes Cortef.  She is 16.  The dr. asked her if she wanted to switch to prednisone (?) or Dexamethasone(?) because she would not have to take it 3 times a day, but said it may have more of a weight-gaining effect.  Maybe could you switch meds and get on something like Cortef if that is not what you are taking?  Just an idea.  It may give you what you need without adding a weight problem.  I know it’s tough, Ash, but you have lots of people out here who really care.  I know I do.  Please take care of yourself and if this dr won’t listen to you, insist on finding one who will.  I find that female doctors relate much better to your feelings as a young lady.  Maybe that would help.
