Two of the most popular girls in the high school I went to were not really that good looking. And I’m not talking about weight. They simple hadn’t much to work with to begin with. But both were outgoing and pleasant to be around, and so were popular.

Later in college I saw the same thing. There was one particular girl who was nice to everyone, and never lacked attention. She was constantly surrounded by a swarm of guys competing for her attention, but she really wasn’t all that good looking.

If your only problem is the weight, then you’re starting off with more than these girls had physically. Eventually the weight could be managed. Until then work on the other things that are controllable. Don’t let the media fool you into thinking guys only look at skinny girls. Be the kind of person people will want to be around, and the weight may not even be a factor worth worrying about.
