Just a query, Sue.  I noticed your above message saying "it is difficult to shift the extra put on in childhood due to oversuppression" .  I was under the impression that OVER suppression causes lack of growth & lack of weight gain and UNDER suppression causes fast growth & fast weight gain?  I’m a little confused which is correct now.  My daughter’s meds have been increased twice in one year and now I’m wondering if (according to your comment) she is OVER suppressed and that’s why she seems rather chunky to me?  I have to admit, her hospital are REALLY slow at giving me blood results, even after chasing several times!  They actually INCREASED her meds both times because I was worried she was putting on weight.  It’s made no difference to her and I’m now wondering if she is oversuppressed.
