hi! i have to say that i think if a dose is correct and weight gain is an issue, there should not be a huge direct relationship there. for those of us that went to the cah conference in new jersey, there were several adults (the majority) on the panel that were NOT overweight at all, and they were salt wasters. my doc sees about 7 kids with cah. none are overweight. short, not not overweight. now, i am not saying there it is not possible and i am positive that if you are on too much steroids, you WILL likely gain weight. however, there ARE people with cah that are not overweight.
