re: Semi-serious response to question for adults with CAH or those with older children who have CAH

My sister and I both with CAH struggle to keep our weight in a reasonable BMI range. We have little discussions (definitely not scientifically based) about this topic and figure that at 147 cms (4’10") and 157 cms (5’2") our fat cells (ie. easily acquired BMI averages) were really genetically programmed for much taller people (probably about 170 cms - like our non-CAH sister) but CAH has caused a disruption to our genetic height potential and therefore we are squishing all our genetic ’fat’ potential into much smaller bodies.

So with this shortness, as well as, the complicating factors of corticosteroids we (my sister and I - not speaking for others) are doomed lol!!!
