To Sarah - sorry!

Sarah - Sorry, I really should read through my posts before sending them (it’s me who is thick here not you!)  The first sentence should have read OVERsuppression causes lack of growth and weight gain etc and an increase in appetite.  This could be why your daughter appears constantly hungry and gaining weight.  Eating patterns can become habit forming, which is why it is so important to be on the right steroid dose in childhood as this has the potential to set a child up for a lifetime of weight problems.  Has your daughter had blood tests?  If so, do you know the results as they should give a good indication of whether her hydrocortisone dose is excessive or not?
