Our 5.5 year old SWCAH daughter has never been given extra salt, just the florinef tablet.  Our Endo says that is all that is required, no need for extra salt in bottles etc.  She has been doing very well, no problems except for the odd bout of vomitting.  We do not put extra salt on her food either, her endo said that as she gets older she should be allowed full use of the salt shaker to use as she feels she needs to.   She has developed a taste for bacon and ham, but then so have her non-CAH cousins, she doesn’t seem to crave any other salty foods.
