I was always led to believe that it was not advisable to give Dex to children as, even though it is convenient to give just the one dose per day, as it interferes with growth, and it is more advisable to give smaller doses spread over a 24 hour period. We were told when our daughter was born that dex would be more appropriate when she reached her full height potential. Does anyone have older children who have grown well after being treated with dex for a long period of time?Jenni
