MROh and does anyone think that Dex is more likely to cause osteoporosis than hydro, because it is so potent?
Seems to me that the Dex is much harder on the body than hydro, harder to metabolize, thins skin, water retention, weight gain. I’d hate to go on and on.
I have a theory, I will probably catch slack for this. I don’t believe in the 80 to 1 Hydro-Dex ratio. Because most classic adults, even saltwasters only take 20 to 30mg of Cortef, and at the most .5mg of Dex. I feel that if one is changing from Dex to Cortef, it will take more Cortef because the Dex is SO potent, but when changing from Cortef to Dex, it will take less Dex that the reversed. I’m sure others will disagree. Oh well, like I said it’s just a theory.
By the way, getting the best dose possible is sometimes the hardest thing to do, trial and error, but sometimes someone is suffering in the process.
