On the main page of this board is the definition of CAH and you can also go to the Cares Foundation website to find out more about it.  If your girlfriend does have CAH then she must be on some type of medication such as Cortef, Florinef, Dexamethasone or some other type of steroid.  These steroids are life-sustaining.  If she were not to take them she would fall into an adrenal crisis and possibly die.  I’m not trying to scare you here, I think it is a good idea that you find out more about CAH if this is what she has.  And she should definetly have a medic-alert bracelet for whatever her condition is.
