Thank you all again for sharing your thoughts and experiences. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all the time people take to post on this board and help each other.

MR, I hope I didn’t seem cavalier about my son’s pain. I certainly would never, ever subject him to pain simply for my convenience. I appreciate your input and will try even harder to listen to him and help him. Unfortunately, this condition is just so damn tricky. I constantly feel like we are walking a tight rope.

Do we return to Cortef and risk the breakthrough androgen production, make CAH a "bigger" part of his life through constant dosing, and end up switching to a longer acting steroid when he enters puberty (a typically volatile time when titration would be very difficult)? Or would a return to Cortef assure us good control with less side effects?

I’m sure I’ll be posting again soon.

Thanks again, Chris
