Eek - kidney stones aren’t fun.  I’ve had a lot of them.

What piqued my interest - and I have no answers for you, Tonia - is when you said that you were drinking 4 liters of water a day but the tests said you were only drinking 1 liter.  When I did my "pee-in-a-jug" test they told me I wasn’t drinking near enough water.  I thought that was strange because I was drinking so much water that my belly sloshed when I walked!  I got up and jiggled to demonstrate to my urologist, which just made him think I was nuts.

I’m not a salt-waster, obviously.  I just have late-onset.  I never thought to have bloodwork drawn during any of my bouts with stones.  I guess I always figured that my numbers would be off then anyway because of the stress of the severe pain.  Thanks for posing the question, Tonia.  I’m interested to see where this thread goes too.
