Yes, adrenal shock can kill .... I lost my 2 yr old son almost 13 yrs ago now. What has been said here is very important ... make sure your son’s medication levels are appropriate, and that all of his care-givers know how to deal with him when he’s sick. We’ve never had to deal with a seizure with our 7 yr old SW daughter, but I understand that it can happen when levels are off. Does your wife have access to a computer? Information on the CARES site, and asking questions here have helped me as much (if not more) than anything I’ve learned from our endocrinologists! I can’t imagine how very stressful it must be for your whole family at this time. I will pray that the doctors get to the bottom of this quickly. Blessings.
