This is the thing I don’t understand I crush her Florineff and put them in her sippy cup so I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t crush the Cortef also.  The endo told me splitting pills is not as accurate as liquid.  I understand what Lisa is saying about the acne I know she shouldn’t have it the endo referred me to a dermatologist.  My pediatrician said it looked like adult acne and she questioned the fact that prednisone could cause acne or maybe she was getting too many androgens.  The thing is her 17 OHP level is only 11 right now so I can’t imagine she is getting too many androgens I am not really sure how all that works.  If I do not get an answer that I am comfortable with on Friday I am going to switch to an endo in that group that I know for a fact starts infants on Cortef.
