I have two boys with CAH (salt wasters), 14 and 12.  This past year has been very difficult as they have been sick off and on, more than usual.  Since both my wife and I work full time we have had to take a lot of time off from work to care for them (sharing the days).  It seems that only parents with children with CAH understand the amount of care CAH children need.  Both my wife and I are now on probation at work due to our illnesses with the boys.  I have tried to explain the situation, but they don’t seem to understand or want to understand!!  Has anyone else come across this, and if so, how did you handle the situation?

 

Just found the this website and love it!!  Nice to know that there are other people dealing with the same things we are.
