My son was diagnosed with CAH at 20 days. We started him with a liquid cortef that I would squirt in his mouth, but be careful. If it gets on the clothes consider them ruined. As he got older he switched to tablest. 5.0mg. He is now 3 and take 1 hole pill in the morning, 1/2 at lunch time, and 1 before bedtime. My endo is great!!! (TX Childrens Hospital) She said his dosage will change as he gets older. Be patient it will all be fine
