Hi, I am so glad I found this web site.  I have been reading like crazy but still have a few questions.  Two weeks ago we had ACTH stimulation test.  It came back high in 17OH like her other two blood works.  Dr. said thats what we have.  We are still waiting for the genetic test to come back but I guess that is just extra confermation.  I have 3 questions right now.....  we will start meds in a week when all the test are in.

1)  My daughter is very thirsty and is always drinking.  Can late onset also have some salt wasting?

2)  Dr. says that we don’t really need to worry about adrenal crisis with late onset but told us she will schedule us to meet with her nurse to learn to give shots.  Makes me think I need to worry some....

3)  Do people with Locah wear medical alert bracelets?
