Thank you all for your responses!!!!  All of your are very helpful.  It feels good to be able to communicate with other people who are going throught the same things I am.

Wow I am suprised to see how many kids are on the suspension!  Maybe it is okay to keep him on it?!

My son is on hydrocortisone ora-sweet suspension.  We give it at 8am(1.5mg) 4pm(1.5mg) and 11pm(2mg).   We give him florinef .1mg tab twice a day.  We just disolve that in a little water in the muchkin medicator.  He sucks it down!

I know heal sticks are not good.  The blood gets hemolized and results are not accurate resulting in high potassium results.  I don’t know how a heal stick effects his hormone tests.  If they do get a vein (usually after 3-6 sticks) from him it clots right away and they have to do a heal stick anyway to make sure they have enough blood.  They always say don’t worry it will get better!  Hopefully soon.

Thanks again!!!
