You might want to try warm wet compress before a blood draw to help draw the blood to the surface. Another thing, we tried the Emla cream but it always makes my daughter’s veins immpossible to find. We found another numbing cream called Elamax. It is over the counter and works well in the numbing department and also leaves the vein easier to find.
