This makes so much sense.  Are the capsules really little?  My 15 month old son dissolves the cortef tablets in his mouth.  Do you think he could swallow the capsule with some water? 

Does your insurance cover the cost of the compounding?  I would think that they would with a dr. order/prescription.

I am going to talk to my sons endo at his next app’t about this.  At his last appointment he doubled his total daily dose because his 17ohp was 1500.  I wish he would have increased in smaller increments and then checked his levels.  I am pretty sure he is now oversuppressed (again!!).  I like the idea of being able to increase the dose in less than 1.25 mg increments.
