Ashley would have adult like under arm odour at aged 7 yrs when his levels were  out of whack.  I know this was abnormal now as I have an 8 yr old boy without CAH who doesnt even have anything like it.  At the time his Paed stated that it was "normal" for a boy to smell that way, EVEN though my daughter (non CAH and older than him) never had such at that age and girls often develop way before boys do.  If your child’s 17 OHP levels are the equivalent of an adults though, they are going to have every other hormone made by adrenals after that elevated to adult levels and they [i]are[/i]  going to smell like an adult under the arms-that’s a given really.  We’ve been using under arm deoderant since aged 7 yrs on and off.
