I took Dex from the time I was 6 weeks pregnant until about 19 weeks (we had a CVS done at 11 weeks)  when i was told that we were going to have a little girl but that she was a carrier and would not be affected with CAH.  I had a beautiful little girl that is affected with CAH and is virilized. The test was wrong - I should have stayed on the Dex but because of the results I weaned off.
