Aimee.... yes the time is surely the ONLY way we can see any process of treatment in the CAH world, Fortunately for our young ones today people like you and other children/young adults were put through the most terrifying medical protocal that any human should EVER have to endure. But because of you and others like you .......we have learned as parents when to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and feel comfortable doing it. You telling your stories and giving us verbal quotes from someone who HAS been there,  makes us ponder many decisions and think twice and act once. Unlike the time era you refer to where they were to busy cutting to ask about feelings/ emotions /after effects or just the plain common courtesy of some patient empathy on the Doctors parts. With your in put I don’t think ANYONE who has ever been on this board does not go into a DRs. office and in the back of there mind hear your voice. Not just the voice of your inner pain ..but the voices of so many young children that were treated as nothing more than an experiment. Because of you and your caring enough to speak about your pain and trauma, you make us more cognitive to prevent this from happening to anymore children. Thank you for letting us here your pain and helping us not let it happen to our own, I will forever be grateful that NO Doctor will EVER run in and take a quick peek! NO Doctor will EVER run in and insert anything in my child  that will be beneficial to there Doctoring skills. You have made be build a barrier of safety nets around my baby that NO ONE else ever could. Many nights I go to sleep and think of what if’s. What if we did not have this board to share the good bad and the ugly with. We are all grown to believe the DR. is right and do what the good DR. says.
