Hi, do you know why the cortef pills were bad??  Had they expired or were the pills just bad?  How did you have the pills tested?  Sometimes I wonder about this because my son has flip flopped from being way oversuppressed to way undersuppressed even after a large dose increase.

New B, I appreciate your frustration with whatever side effects you are experiencing with the steroids,but it seems clear that the alternative is much worse.  Maybe if you have a very honest and frank discussion with your endo.  he/she might be able to make some dosage or medication adjustments that would decrease the undesirable side effects you are experiencing.  I’m sorry there is no perfect solution but hopefully things can be improved for you.
