My 10-year-old non-salt waster has NEVER slept well. We used to attribute it to the fact that we had to tube-feed him at night while he slept (as an infant) because he was a failure to thrive baby with no known reason for it. So, for the first few years we attributed to the fact that he was probably hungry. But, now at 10, he still has a hard time falling asleep and frequently wakes during the night.

Would be interesting if there was a CAH connection. Would be better if we could fix it. Poor guy is always tired.
