I am so happy to know that I am not alone with this problem but of course wish that none of us had this going on. It is hard enough to care for a child with SWCAH, but to do it with no decent sleep ourselves, well you know... My daughter 21 months, started this problem in October after her Cortef was increased (due to her growing size) Her Endo says its got nothing to do with the Cortef, her pediatrician says it could be acid reflux,  the pharmasist says it probably is the Cortef, so who do I believe? She is a very happy, active child in the day. Sometimes takes a nap, sometimes not. She has an older brother, (will be 3 in March) who plays with her all day and she will always outlast him.  They are both constantly thirsty, drinking water, apple juice, orange juice, milk and gatorade all day. I assume it is because they are both so active. But at night my daughter now will fall asleep for a very short time 1/2 hour or so and then the tossing and turning starts. She tries every spot on the bed and then its the floor and then in another bedroom and even a couple of times she has gone down stairs into the living room and tried to fall asleep on the carpet on top of pillows. She is not crying or whining, she is just trying to find somewhere comfortable. Sometimes this goes on until 4 or 5 in the morning. But she will wake up around 8;30 and she is fine, and ready to start her day. She has also started asking for milk a couple of times at night. If anyone has had this problem and has had success with some solution, please respond. It will be so appreciated.
