yes, megan. i completely agree with you. good point. i wish it were as simple as replacing what they don’t produce on their own, but it can’t be. it is impossible to exactly mimic the bodies natural release of cortisol. on the other hand, thank God there are synthetic steroids. i guess with such a complex disorder i am just thankful that we have made some strides in treatment over the last 50 years. tracy ( i think it was you), you bring up an interesting point- that you feel like you look overtreated but take a below recommended dose. that proves how our bodies know synthetic from natural and that timing is crucial, hunh?? thanks again for the input everyone!louise
