Lisa V.My Ashley (9yrs SWCAH) has never slept well. As an infant she was up throughout the night, she never took naps and she has always been the "wild child" in the family. She has always tossed and turned at night and is up 2 or 3 times a night going to the bathroom or just awake. Usually what happens now is when we get home from the daycare in the evening, she will sleep while I am making dinner, then she will get up and eat, do her homework, play and then go to bed. This short nap that she takes seems to help because she is not as tired in the morning as she used to be. On the weekends she will sleep for 2 or 3 hours in the afternoon and then get up and go play again.
My son non-cah has never had a problem sleeping or taking a nap. And he does not wake up in the middle of the night at all.
Ashley’s first endo said that her "wildness" was not from the meds but her endo that she has now has hinted that it is and the pharmacist says that most definetly it is from the meds. In my opinion it is from the meds as well.
