Did you hear that from anyone but me? (Sometimes I shoot my mouth off!). I’m wondering if it would be different for CAH kids. My daughter who had early puberty doesn’t have CAH. Also, her height prediction when she went into puberty was 5’6" or so, and she ended up 5’2" so maybe if a child looks like they may not reach what the doctor’s consider a "good height" they’ll use Lupron even if it’s borderline. I also didn’t know anything about early puberty, and the internet was in it’s infancy, so I just listened to the doctors and didn’t push for Lupron. My pediatrician at the time even said that 7 was normal for girls, which I think is pretty ridiculous but there are doctors who believe that. I think if you really feel strongly that that’s what you want, there are alot of ways to get it. You could say that your daughter is having psychological distress about the early puberty.bonnie
