Bonnie, I really appreciated your comments from past experience.  You weren’t the only one to mention about 8 being borderline.  I have since spoken to the endo nurse who said the same thing.  In spite of this, I still think it’s a little early as she has only just turned 8.  If she was nearly 9, then maybe it wouldn’t be so bad.  She is very conscious of it and I think it’s a good point about the psychological side of things.  I shall mention this to her endo.  I’m still waiting for an appointment but I’ll let you know what they think.  Many thanks for your input which has been very helpful.
