Our endo always told us that if they kept the medicine down for 20 minutes, that was ok. However, they always told us to err on the side of caution and if we weren’t sure how long it had been or didn’t feel like 20 minutes was good enough(like if they spit up at 22 minutes), just go ahead and give the cortef again. Also, we have always been told not to regive the Florinef as too much of it can cause a lot of side effects (headache, spike in blood pressure, etc).
