I have never heard of the seizure risk either, and I bet it is from crisis.  My endo explained that they may lose and inch or two in height, but your child like mine does not have much genetic potential to be tall, so and inch or two could result in a very short person.  My endo explained that you figure the moms height and dads in some equation to get the most likely height the child can reach, and that is what you aim for.  Like my husband and I are both 5’5, so I hope my son is at least 5’4 or 5’3, but the better control they are under the better height they will reach.
