My baby just started on Zantac yesterday. I could see a bit of improvement with the way he slept last night, although he did wake up around 7 AM doing basically the same as he had been( thrashing, grunting/whining, kicking, spitting up). I can tell that he seems to be spitting up less today than usual. He is talking 1.5 ml twice a day. The pediatrician told me that it would have no interaction with his CAH meds, and never mentioned anything about not taking Zantac at the same time as the other meds. He didn’t give me any ideas about what times of the day I should be giving him the Zantac, so I just figured I would give it to him around 12 PM and then before bedtime. I’m hoping this works. I usually put him in the bed with me in the early morning (he sleeps beside me in his crib the rest of the night), and I always feel like I’ve been in a boxing ring after he’s through with me. He’s kicking me, whacking me with his hand, and banging me with his head all at the same time. It’s like he’s sleeping but very restless, or like something is bothering him.
