I agree that some are very sensitive to the Cortef. My daughter is one of them. She couldn’t sleep while on 2 and even 3 times a day dosing. When we switched to 4 (now we are at 5) small doses (one with each meal, 10pm and 3AM) she sleeps very extremely soundly and other side effects went away as well. She began growing, lost the puffy red cheeks, the irritability and dark circles under her eyes. Yes, those with CAH must take the meds but there is fine tuning that may help with the side effects of the meds. Good luck. Julia
