Our son was in severe adrenal crisis when we took him to the hospital and he was diagnosed with CAH. (he was 5 weeks old and now he is 8) The doctors told us they were suprised that he was not having seizures then and said he most likely he would never seize for any reason. So maybe they have to do with severe sickness?

Our endo has told us that we will work on our sons height when he hits puberty. He would like him to gain as much height as he can but he thinks he will end up between 5’6 to 5’10 which are my height and dh’s height. I’m not worried as long as he’s not really short (which would be kind of tough on a boy in my opinion) and as long as he’s healthy. Health is our main objective...everything else just fills in the spaces. :)

Don’t worry CAH does get easier even though some days feel like you want to go nutty. I remember thinking that it was such a hard thing and there was so much to worry about and now it’s just a part of our lives and it is normal.  You’ve found the right place at this message board there is lot of knowledge here all you need to do is ask. :)
