My boys Josh (14) and Jordan (12) stay over night with friends all the time.  They know when to take their meds and how much to take.  We still always make sure that the parents know about their condition and how serious it is.  They have done great.  Josh went away a couple of years ago to sixth grade camp for a week.  We made sure that we had a letter from our endo explaining his meds and shot meds.  They were to call us if anything was to happen and if they had to give him a shot.  Things went great!  Jordan will go to sixth camp this year and we will make sure that we do the same thing as we did with Josh.

We have to let our children grow up as normal as possible with the condition they have.  Not allowing our children to do things that other children are allowed to do because of their condition, is telling them they are diffident!  They may have CAH, but can still do anything they put their minds too.
