We also live in the Folsom, Ca area. Our newborn son was just diagnosed with SWCAH on Jan 23rd and we have no clue as to what we should do. We spent a week in Sutter Memorial, during which time we saw Drs. Prakasam and Radgir. Does anyone know anything about these doctors? How successful have your doctors been in maintaining good levels and numbers? Also, can anyone direct us to a phamacy in the area that sells 5mg cortef and 1g sodium chloride? We got a week’s supply from the hospital, but so far I haven’t found a pharmacy that can get them in these sizes. (Plus they think we’re crazy for even asking!) We even asked the hospital if we could buy just these meds from them, and they said no. Any help on this would be great. Knowing that there are other local families dealing with the same thing helps so much.
